We continue to grow and currently looking for a Java Backend developer to join our company in Lithuania.
We hope you are experienced in Java 8, Nomin, Kafka, Postgres and Vertika DBs and Kibana log monitoring as well as having great communication skills, independent work abilities and willing to work in an international environment with the team members from Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany, US, etc. to create an outstanding software for one of leading providers of data services for capital market industry.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Java;
- knowledge of SQL;
- understanding REST;
- knowledge of basic design patterns;
- ability to choose an algorithm or data structures to solve a task and substantiate your choice;
- ability to write code for a multithreaded environment;
- ability to ask questions to understand the problem;
- ability to establish and meet to deadlines;
- willingness to admit when something went wrong and provide a solution;
- communication and independent work abilities;
- good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
Would be a plus:
- experience with financial technologies;
- experience with cryptocurrency exchanges;
- knowledge of data protocol (MQTT, QUIC, HTTP, FTP, WebSocket);
- knowledge of Unix operating systems;
- deep understanding of TCP/UDP operation;
- experience within fintech domain: principles of market data distribution and market trading;
- knowledge of financial information exchange protocol (FIX/FAST/SBE); knowledge of cryptographic protocol (TLS, SSL);
- interest in DevOps culture

Salary
5000-7000 EUR/month gross
